In Bormio, Gelateria Pasticceria Braulio di Confotola turned to BM Italia to completely renovate its spaces. A bespoke project, designed from the counter area all the way through to the dining room, where every technical choice found a form and every form found its place.
The counter
The heart of the space. Built to drawing, it combines matt lacquered MDF and wood slats in a composition that already tells the story of the place. The Dekton worktop in "Arga" finish closes the profile with quiet solidity. Inside, two 170 cm display cases — one for pastry, one for gelato — with remote compressors, keeping the mechanics invisible and the product front and centre.
The back bar
Same logic: refrigerated units, modular drawers, coffee station, all integrated without showing the effort. Finishing touches come from a system of iron and wood cubes lit by LED and a powder-coated iron logo, giving the whole thing a recognisable identity.
The dining room
An upholstered bench almost seven metres long runs along the wall, welcoming guests as they settle in. Cast iron base tables and upholstered JAZZ chairs complete the space. There is also a dedicated children's corner, with the SNOW JUNIOR system in polypropylene.
The result
A space that works well before it even looks good — and in the end, it looks good too. BM Italia worked on every component so that the Bormio location could present its product with the same care that goes into making it.
